Core Stability Exercises With Kathy
We posted a video earlier this week describing the 6 main movement patterns that our programs are based around.
In the video below, Kathy is demonstrating MOVEMENT PATTERN #6 - Anti Rotational, Lateral, Frontal Core Stability.
In the first exercise, Kathy is demonstrating a Paloff Press. Using an elastic band, she is having to use her core to stop herself from being pulled back into the pole. This is an Anti-Rotational exercise.
In the second exercise, Kathy is demonstrating a Dead Bug. This is a frontal core stability exercise. The key with this exercise is keeping the lower back on the ground throughout the movement.
