Making healthy changes in your life can be a little overwhelming.
As a mother of two wonderful children, I totally get it!
But instead of viewing your health as an all-or-nothing makeover, try incorporating little adjustments that compounded over time will have a MASSIVE effect on your health.
A few small, easy steps in the right direction can lead to bigger and better changes along the way.
That’s why even ONE SMALL CHANGE TODAY can help you succeed!
Each day for the next week, I will be writing a blog with 1 easy change you can make IMMEDIATELY, so check back often (or join our Facebook page here)!
Change # 1 - Drink More Water!
Water has a host of health benefits!
However it is most critical in helping rid the body of toxins, boosting your energy, and assisting your body with all its daily functions.
Those factors alone should convince you to up your intake of H2O.
60 % of our bodies are made up of water, and this is lost throughout the day through sweat and urine.
It is no wonder that, in order for us to be able to exercise, have more energy and perform optimally we will need to drink an adequate amount.
Health experts recommend drinking about 2 litres of water a day.
Don’t be tempted to substitute juice, coffee or pop for the recommended amount.
However adding lemons or fresh fruit to flavour water is a delicious idea, as the flavour boost may encourage you to meet your daily quota.
CHALLENGE YOURSELF THIS WEEK TO DRINK 2 LITRES OF WATER A DAY.
And yes – you will probably soon know the location of every restroom at work, in the mall, and at the grocery store!
But really take note of how the increased hydration makes you feel.
You may find that the additional fluids improve nagging health or appearance concerns such as headaches, dry skin, and so on.
Then give me your feedback!
You can do this by emailing me here.
Let me know if you found the challenge hard/easy and if it’s one you want to keep.
When you feel the benefits of increased hydration, you will want continue!
I personally try to drink between 4- 6 litres of water every day. It keeps my energy consistent throughout the day and helps me to feel amazing. “Every day I’m guzzling…” and soon you will too!
