Meet Michelle D! Michelle has been training with Jeff Muir since May (2015). She currently does 1-on-1 personal training 2X/week. We interviewed Michelle the other day, and this is what she told us.
Q: What do you think your biggest accomplishments are since starting your training?
A: Learning how to do a proper deadlift! Since starting with Jeff, I have lifted the heaviest weight during my squat and deadlift which i'm pretty happy about too.
Also, learning to trust my trainer and my body. I tend to give up sooner than I should, but Jeff makes me go beyond my comfort zone (safety and technique in mind of course)!
Q: What were you nervous about when you first came to Vagus Fitness?
A: I thought I was going to be entering an "elite" studio where only the fit athletes were welcome. I was glad to see there were clients with varying fitness levels and goals, but just as important - everyone is so welcoming!
Q: How has strength training with Jeff made a difference in your regular life and hobbies?
A: I have more energy, feel happier, more consistency in my results and improved confidence for sure.
Q: So, what's next on the chopping block?
A: Well, right now I am training for my first bikini competition so decreasing my body fat % is a big goal. I also want to do pull-ups unassisted!
Q: Are you happy with your experience thus far?
A: Yes! Training at Vagus has been an eye opener in terms of a trainer knowing what they are doing...
